Elon Musk Gives a Clear Answer  on Whether the Moon Landing Was Real or Fake

Elon Musk has recently been vocal about his personal beliefs, even appearing alongside Donald Trump in the political arena.

The Tesla CEO made waves with his remarks on the “awakened mind virus” and quipped that he might be in jail if Kamala Harris had won the presidency.

But just when it seems Musk has shared every opinion, he’s weighed in on another hot topic: the moon landing.

Specifically, the billionaire provided a clear response on whether he believes the historic 1969 event was genuine.

It’s been over 50 years since NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon, delivering the famous line: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

Yet, even decades later, debates around the event’s authenticity persist, with conspiracy theory videos racking up millions of views.

On Musk’s platform X, formerly known as Twitter, discussions flare up regularly on the topic.

However, in a recent interview with ex-Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Musk clarified his stance.

During their talk, Musk stated: “We definitely went to the moon. I swear. We went to the moon several times.”

Carlson replied: “I just want to check your view on that.”

To which Musk confidently affirmed: “We one hundred percent went to the moon.”

Skeptics of the moon landings argue the events were staged, citing details like shadow angles and the appearance of the American flag ‘flapping’ in the wind.

Another common point is the absence of stars in the footage, which is due to exposure settings.

Despite these theories, the moon landing did indeed occur, with Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin as the first two people to walk on the lunar surface.

Michael Collins, the third crew member, piloted the spacecraft to ensure the team’s safe return from the moon to Earth.

Before returning, the astronauts left several commemorative items on the lunar surface.

These included a patch to honor the Apollo 1 crew, who lost their lives in a tragic fire during a launch rehearsal.

They also left two medals commemorating Soviet cosmonauts Yuri Gagarin and Vladimir Komarov, who both died in accidents.

Additionally, a small silicon disk with goodwill messages from 73 world leaders, along with a gold olive branch symbolizing peace, was left on the moon.

Elon Musk has often expressed admiration for the Apollo Moon landings, seeing the event as both a remarkable achievement and a missed opportunity for humanity. Musk views Apollo as a defining moment of human ambition and ingenuity. He often calls it an inspiration, demonstrating what humanity can accomplish when vision and resources align.

However, while he celebrates the Apollo missions, Musk also sees them as a poignant reminder of the “lost era” in space exploration, feeling that humanity failed to maintain the momentum sparked by that historic achievement.
