You wonder why it is still the best home planetarium? It’s simple. It has by far the best representation of the starry sky thanks to a strong 5-watt LED in combination with optical glass lenses. The predecessor was already better than the competition .
The product comes with discs for the northern and southern hemispheres along with a large double-sided poster that shows you the sky map for greater detail at what is projected on your ceiling. Many other discs are available for purchase separately. It uses advanced LED technology and there is even a shooting star function that can be activated.
The angle and focus can be adjustable as well as a timer. It is quite compact and light, easy to maneuver from place to place.
The disc rotation isn’t loud and generally, the projections are beautiful, relaxing, and quite realistic in nature, especially with the shooting star function that is available and easy to use for just about anyone at almost any age.

This is a definitive home planetarium system. It uses discs to display the images on your ceiling and walls. That means if you get bored of what’s included in the box, you can always buy more spectacular slides to view. The stars look great, but the room will need to be rather dark in order to appreciate their beauty. Unfortunately, that means it doesn’t make a very good classroom tool, especially if the room has windows. This star projector was developed in collaboration with Ohira Takayuki, who is respected for his work on professional planetarium systems. A lot of scientific quality has been put into this projector.

The Homestar Classic is spherical, aside from the supporting frame. It comes with a variety of convenient controls, including 15, 30, and 60 minute timer options. BRESSER junior home planetarium set – the world of visual experience! . In terms of price this model is even very good and therefore also my personal price-performance winner. However, it “only” displays 8,000 celestial bodies simultaneously. Otherwise the Bresser junior Astro-Planetarium deluxe is convincing due to its easy handling, the rotating projector as well as the battery operation, whereby no annoying cables are in the way.
Besides the normal stars the constellations can also be displayed, which you can’t detect directly otherwise. It is very similar to the National Geographic Astro Planetarium Multimedia, as it has a pair of fewer features.

Nashika Real Home Planetarium
Even if a star projector doesn’t have the best features but can project a high-definition image, it right among the best home planetarium. While I was researching, I didn’t find many home planetarium that could project clear images. And the projectors that could are mentioned in this list. The Nashika star projector with its ability to project high-resolution images impressed me.
The number of stars it projects is below 10000. But one thing it does it projects northern hemisphere, 9000 constellations, 31 galaxies, and earth. It, not just projects you can set the time and date for each constellation. It would be cool to see your zodiac sign on your birthday.
I measured its projection distance for the clearest projection. It is between 20 -100 inches. It uses 3 AA batteries so you will have to keep an eye on the battery or you might start seeing blurry stars in the middle of a star show. However, it does come with an AC adapter. I recommend you use the adapter if you like to use the projector daily.
